I have looked in to this same deal. A freind of mine works for Honda as a Tech.He said the damm seat belt sensor is tide in with the SRS system and by bypassing it will cause an SRS fault. He says Honda designed it this way since seat belts are the law and it was a way to get poeple to start wearing the belts. He said the best thing to do is go to a salvage yard and get an old clip from another car and leave it clipped in place.
