no. it's a 100% cotton applicator. looks something like this -
put a little of the liquid wax on the pad and rub it into the paint using small circular motions. use a little pressure to work that wax in there. wait like 2 minutes and it should be hazy.. then use a microfiber towel to buff it off.
I suggest reading this Detailing forum before waxing your car if you're unsure of how to do it. It's pretty easy, but it's even easier to mess it up.
also, don't get the wax on the plastic, it'll stain it
