So about 2 week ago I said what the heck and bought the coupe fog lights on ebay from Dynasty Auto (as they were mentioned in another thread being a good kit).
Everything seemed to be going good until I got the Fedex tracking # from them. Still a few days left in the shipping window so I thought I would see where they were at so I would know when to look for them. Went to Fedex web page and tracked it, NO record found for this tracking #.
So I e-mailed them back and asked them to make sure they gave me the right tracking #. Never got an answer.
OK its the weekend of the 4th I will give them a few days. 2 days later, no answer. So I e-mail them again and still no answer.
Getting a little mad I give them a day deadline to respond. Still no answer.:Mad:.
Today I send a not so nice e-mail telling them that they seem to not want to return my e-mails and sent me a fake tracking #, and I want an answer or else....NO ANSWER!!!!!
So I track down the phone # and give them a call. some lady answers the phone and I told her that I have the incorrect tracking # and need to know the true tracking # give her my info,,,,,,,,,10 minutes of hearing foreign jiber jaber and a computer keyboard in the background,,,,,,,,the phone gets laid down on a counter next to a radio (not on hold) for another 10 minutes.
She finally picks up the phone again and said they have record of the shipment going out in thier log but Fedex lost it. They will have to file a claim with Fedex and that will take about 5 to 6 days, then they will ship out another set of lights or I could get a refund.
I said if it is going to take that long I will take the refund. She said OK when we get the claim from Fedex we will refund you the money.
Once again I am like WTF. I proceed to try to understand why and argue with her about the 5 to 6 day before I can get a new set shipped to me or the refund.
Going to try and call back and talk to someone else later as this was going no where.
What kind of BS is this kind of crap. I paid for the lights and I am entitled to receive the lights or a refund regardless if they were lost by Fedex. They will get the claim from Fedex. Why should I have to wait for that before they ship me the lights or refund the money....
And I still think that the lights were never shipped, anyone that has worked in shipping and receiving knows that Fedex scans the package when they pick it up. Therefore when I tracked it, it should have shown me that they picked up the package, at least, instead of no record found.
So if you are thinking of getting the lights off of ebay stay away from Dynasty Auto..
