if you want your wax to last a good amount of time, you should use a paste wax, the only con to this is that its a bit*h to buff off. A solution to this is to use a liquid wax, it is waaay easier to buff off, only thing is that it wont last as long. If i were you, i'd go with a paste wax, it'll be a pain, but it'll be well worth it. Before you wax, you should give you car a nice shine with a polish, i've used swirl away from wax depot, it works really well. you can order it at the wax depot site. as for black paint, i have used black paint wax from zymol, its works well, a little pricey though, around 40 dollars. it spreads easily and buffs off easily, you just gotta wear gloves or else your hands will turn black, have fun.
