Unfortunately doing an intake and an after market exhaust is going to make your car sound ricey. The intake will make the engine louder, and combined with the exhaust will make the exhaust louder. I currently like how my SI sounds AS-IS its not too ricey and the motor is loud enough. I have been contemplating a K&N SRI but I am wary of an increase in engine compartment noise. I had an 05 Civic EX with a K&N SRI which wasn't too bad, I added a Magnaflow Catback and it was unbearable.
