Like everyone said, it really does depend on the dealer you use and the relationship you have with them. There are laws that protect us, but it doesn't prevent you from being hassled anyway, which is why I tend to lean away from mods that can cause problems. I have neither the time or the patience to battle it out w/ dealers over this kind of thing.

i think i have a great relationship with the dealer got them a couple more sales too... even the gm came out when i picked it up and talk about how he had the nbp ex coupe with leather. if one the biggest one of the biggest dealships in the dc area, i had a problem with the interior door panel being discolored (due to some type of glue and when they were detailing it with the combination of armor all and the sun made it discolored) got a "we owe" ticket written out for it but they wanted to try everything to get it out before ordering a new part and replacing it. my salesman even told me out of his own mouth they try to keep their budget on a tight leash for that type of stuff.
