ive known guys who blew motors , and they had cam gears, and the dealer said the aftermarket cam gears blew the motor. but ive known other guys who have had mods on their cars, and dealer didnt void warranty when problems happened. they cant void anything unless they can prove it caused it. but hten again it is dealer selective. i work for toyota, a moded late model, dunno what year, but mr-s came in with mods, and it needed warranty work on the motor, and service wasnt denied. really depends on the dealer, and the dealer i was at, the owners/managers were cool about it, knowing the mods didnt cause the problem
