Assuming he was talking about the low-current side, the computer harness is fine... you're only dealing with a couple hundred mA, max.

Yea, the amount of current on the input of the relay will be determined by the relay itself. I couldnt find any info on how much current is needed to activate the relay. Its probably pretty low.
