ha... no i bet they changed the oil but forgot the meter. it actualy is only mesuring milage not the actual oil itself. im guessing you got it changed around 2500 or so? the reset is done by holding the reset button down untill the oil life blinks then press it again for a few seconds. its in the manual.. i could be a bit off.
