People tend to reject what is "new" to them, something they've never seen before. A good example would be, music players. back then, people thought the A-track player was the ****, but then came the cd player. at first people laugh and ridiculed it because it was different, people talked **** about it and rejected it. soon enough everyone started to use the cd and the cd player. then came the mp3 player. same story. i dont really mind if you guys still call it rice even after it's done. because i'm not like most of you (lip kit, drop, wheels, intake/exhaust), that is so mundane, boring and repetitive. i want to be different. i have my plans all written out, and if everything goes well. i will get a full sponsorship on my car, meaning, i will not pay a dime for any mods done to my car. if the sponsorship goes through, there will also be guaranteed magazine coverage. that's what i want. to make a name for myself in the import scene. and if you guys don't like it, then that's just your opinion. because i know that i my car will be great, once it's done. it will be known on this forum, and that's what i intend to do. sorry for this long rant, i just had to get it off my chest..
I know exactly what you're goin through. we're doing the same for some of our SEMA cars as well. hope to see you there
