Si spring/shock setup or aftermarket w/ drop?

Okay, here's a pic of my ex with the new rims... I was initially thinking of doing new springs with about a 1" drop. I'm more concerned with better handling since the new rims really fill out the fender gap nicely.
On the flip side of the coin, I can get an Si suspension setup for much cheaper than new springs/camber adjusters (yes, I realize that camber adjusters are not ENTIRELY necessary on a 1" drop, but I'd want to save my tires )
I'm leaning more towards the Si setup, but two questions I have:
1) Does the Si setup lower the car at all? (I imagine it doesn't...)
2) Are any camber adjustments required if I do switch to the Si setup?

Thanks!
J
