I know some people have been stating the reflash didn't do much for them. My regards. I was fortunate enough, though, to have experienced a positive change as a result of having it reflashed. I'm sure it's true that it takes 20-30 min, but on the day I came in, they were busy, so I ended up waiting 90 minutes.
No more bucking or hesitation from the throttle in first gear when the engine is cold. The RPMs appear to drop faster, but not instantly, as soon as you let off the gas in 1st and 2nd. However, they do drop fast enough now that I have to change my driving still a little by giving it more gas when I shift from 1st to 2nd. The higher RPMs drop faster generally, and all around when the engine is warm. Flawless.
The throttle feels more responsive, due probably to the RPMs, and not as "laggy" as it was before. Of course, there isn't much of a big change at the high end, but the lower end with all the bucking was driving me crazy. Now I don't look like a retard trying to learn a manual transmission.
