or you could go look yourself to back your points instead of deferring to me. first off, i don't know about the R18 since I don't own one, and second, the girl who started this thread is rolling in an SI. if you want r18 figures you can go ask your secretary to "show you" and you can discuss it with her.

AEM's dyno for their CAI (not V2) showed a 7HP increase. They're SRI isn't completed yet for the '06 SI.

For the EP3 SI's, the SRI underperformed the CAI by 1-2 HP.

Does this prove anything about the SRI vs CAI for the R18? No. You can go look around the internet for dyno graphs.

Does it prove that the AEM cold air systems will outperform the short intakes? No, but it definitely suggests it. Cold Air > Hot Air.
