alot of them are lighter because of the aluminum calipers vs. the stock ones. the rotors may be a litle heavier because of their size in some kits but not really significant enough to matter because of the material removed to cross drill or slot them. did you take that into consideration?
i agree that they are not really needed on these cars unless you have some crazy power(which no one really has yet). doing pads rotors and lines will make a huge difference.
people should be more concerned with the weight of their rims.
