Ok. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We just got off the phone with California and the dirt is as follows.

The Good.

The special offer will be an 18" Mugen wheel kit. They are saying the wheels will resemble the 08 Mugen Si stock wheels. The kit will include 4 wheels, 20 special lugs, and a foam insert to retain 5 stock lugs for your spare.

The Bad, or good depending how you look at.

The price tag for this package (our internet price) will be under $2000. We will make an even lower price available for 8thCivic members for a limited time.

The Ugly.

California said they are not releasing the package for ordering until later this week or the beginning of next. The reason for the delayed ordering is that they are finishing special installation instructions for the item (warnings, etc) and they are still stocking product to warehouses across the U.S. At the earliest they will open up ordering on Wednesday but I'm not holding my breathe. They said it could be as late as next week before customer/dealer orders can be taken.

FITMENT:

They have only tested this kit on the 07 Civic Si 2 door and 4 door. Although the 06 Si 2dr is identical to the 07, Honda will not have the wheels listed as applying to the 06. Of course we feel there will be no issue.

So at least we know what it is, what the basic end cost will be and that the special is indeed a reality. For those of you who have a Si and the cash we will let you know when you can order them and what the special 8thCivic price will be as soon as possible.

You can't order them today but at least the special is a go!

Alright...let the wide range of negative, positive and indifferent posts begin. Just don't shoot the messenger! Shoot Torrance. I'm sure they will like your input on this.
