1. I'd say about 7 hp
2. No, not necessarily, actaully id say it would be VERY hard to kill your warranty with a CAI unless you hydrolocked
3. I had a non-carb legal CAI on my last car and it passed fine. Howeber I'm sure the Civic CAI's are or will be CARB legal, so yes they are fine for smog and not hard to swap out if not.
4. If it does it is negligable
5. S/C, turbo...I don't know sky is the limit if you got the money...
