That's what I did, but the downfall is that while the aluminum ones are cheaper, they're very light and don't provide any counterweight (I have the polished aluminum Voodoo knob). They also scratch easily, which is made worse in my case because I wear a ring on my right hand. Rick's titanium knobs are heavier, but more expensive.
Those M1 knobs are cheaper than Rick's titanium knobs and they are also heavier, which makes it the better option, IMO.
