the only reason a CAI will void the warranty is if the CAI contributes to the problem. That will only happen if the CAI is basically completely submerged in water. The dealership has to prove that the CAI is the reason for the malfunction. It is very rare for this to happen. Unless you plan on driving into a lake then no problem
