I have a 112,000 mile cadillac right now that smells heavenly, or so I'm told. Here are my tips for keeping your call smelling nice.

1. No eating inside the car, nothing. If you eat more then a few times in your car the seats will absorb the smell and your going to have to clean the seats to get the stink out.

2. Vacuum, shampoo the carpets and seats.

3. Don't keep anything inside the car except for floor mats. Everything left in the car will release some type of odor and since it's in a small space you will smell it.

4. Have some type of air freshener. I use yankee candles oil based "plugs". You plug it in onto the ac vent so when you turn the ac on it releases the heavenly smell. I LOVE yankee candles odors, real pleasant and soft on the nose. Nothing wrong with a guy with a nice smelling car. Your car is an expression of yourself, what good is it to have a clean looking ride on the outside and have the interior smell like ass ? Anyways hope that helped some of you with smelly cars.
