1. how can AJP tell you how much the install should be if they were not the ones installing it??? not blaming u ... but that shop could have charged anything over if they wanted to depending on whatever they ran into and then u'd be stuck with the bill ... AJP would say it's not their shop, the shop owner would say it took extra time etc etc ... at the end u have a bill u have to pay ... u'll say it didn't fit ... they'll say well it's a prototype u agreed to work with
2. there's no excuse for a $20 overcharge if u weren't aware of it... that's = to robbery!
3. prototyping a kit is taking a
HUGE risk (i know) ... a "prototype" should not be expected to be perfect ... if u decide to prototype the kit with no arrangements made prior for compensation for you time lost then you are out of luck ... if the arrangement for compensation is made prior and not given then u win ... if no arrangement is made then u want it after a mess up, then u are at the discretion of the company and usually that doesn't work out too well and u can't expect anything cuz u agreed to prototype and that usually always comes with a hiccup ... look how long it took me to get my car back from my initial post about prototyping a kit (i can't even recall how many times i was doubted that i even had a kit to prototype because it took so long) ... then even after getting the car back it was untuned ... then i had to wait a loooong time for Doug of hondata to fly over for the custom tune/reflash (as we all know hondata is a busy company)....so yeah prototyping a kit can be a bitch ... sucks!!
4. a o2 sensor will not strip that easily ... if your o2 was damaged then that shop owes you some money for your o2!!! it's not common like they make it seem...
5. if it doesn't fit ... u must acquit ... ... if OJ can get away with it .. then
sad to hear ...
hope u have stuff in writing or some kind of trail ....
PS: sorry webby ... i can post in a closed thread

... though not intentional
