Amsoil is amazing!
I just changed my fluid on my '07 FG2. It took a little over an hour by myself. The 'big ass syringe' was a big help. The tranny took about 1 3/4 quarts. I just took it on a quick 10 mile round trip test drive and wow! 1st, 2nd, and 4th are smooth as butter. 5th and 6th are not quite as smooth, but I can't really complain. 3rd gear is now a whole new world. Before, about 25% of the time (worse when cold) I would have to remember to shift to 3rd then pause a second b4 letting the clutch out until the shifter clicked again into true 3rd gear. I probably grinded 3rd 10 to 20 times since 11/4/06 when I bought the car

don't grind. I was getting tired and fed up with the car and considered trading it in. However, now 3rd is prefect
. It isn't smooth like butter, it still gives me some feedback, but it doesn't fight me any more. It actually wants to go into 3rd!!! Hallelujah!!!

with no fear. Today is a great day. Anyone who hasn't done this yet, what are you waiting for? Best mod ever, especially for only $24.
