DIY: Strutking Pedal Set w/ Step-by-Step & Pics

This DIY is to cover mainly the MT R18.
However, the same process applies to the automatic.
Some will think this mod is too easy to bother with DIY,
but you never know, some may want to look at instructions with pics to make sure they are doing it right

For those who have the Si looking for a DIY on the dead pedal only:
DIY: Strutking Dead Pedal Install - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum

Enjoy!

You need:
  1. Power drill
  2. 7mm socket wrench
  3. Ratchet with 7mm socket (optional)
  4. Phillips screwdriver
  5. Some cleaning supplies (optional)
  6. 15-20 minutes (may vary)
  7. a box to catch the metal pieces from drilling =)

Before you drill the plastics, I'd like to ask you to go easy on them.
Keep the drill straight, you dont want the hole too big for the self tapping screws
If anything, drill a small hole to 'track' the self tapping screws and let it do the rest

I found it easier to mount the metal piece onto the rubber and put all the studs through the holes,
then place them on the pedal. You can try putting the rubber piece on the pedal then the metal piece over it.
See which works better for you.

Hope this helps some people
