yeah, but as much as I hate to admit it, for good torque there really is no replacement for displacement, there are ways to get around it, like the Si has pretty good torque for a NA 2.0l, but overall revs and HP are more flexible milage wise most of the time IMO.

i totally see where ur coming from, but to just increase displacement without head work, higher compression pistons, stronger valve springs, cams etc would be a waste of cash. but yeah, a quick purge and a 50 shot will cure some tq issues
