It's pretty sad that I have to look in other areas of the internet to get the right info on my car for this. It's obviously a hot topic, as there is numerous posts from members that want to know the info, but each post is blogged down with useless, irrelevent rambles from people with no common sense.

You get the ones that always want to be the first to post "wear your seatbelt" to try to be funny. Really? Hmm...that's brilliant. Then, they want to go on about how the law is you have to wear your seatbelt, and to wear it, yada yada yada....But then they say to just click the belt and sit on it, or they talk about cutting wires, or some other lame, dangerous comeback. Not all the people on here want to disable the belt chime so they can ride around with it not on. There is legit reasons to do it. ALL car manufacturers now have codes to disable the chime without damaging anything, it's that way from the NHTSA.

And then you get mods that delete the posts that actually have the information in it? To do what, protect them?? What a croc! A post of the legit way to disable a chime has no civil liability whatsoever! Now all the posts that say "just latch the belt and sit on it", now that would have more of a chance to come back on this site than anything! This is why I rarely come to this site anymore, because of the immaturity of some of the members.

Just had to post, because the priorities on this topic are so sidetracked it's funny.
