im not sure what you mean by this.

R18 civics are still made in Est Liberty,Ohio, but they are also made in Alliston, ON. just like 05's. 05s were made in either East Liberty, Ohio or Alliston, ON. 06+ Si's are only made in Alliston.

the only thing 2006 did is guarantee that your Si is from Canda. otherwise, your Civic has a chance of being from either US or Canada.

if you want proof look here:
i just typed in '2005 civic' into ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270143276197
look at the VIN. starts with a 2. starts with a 2 means made in Canada.

now i type in '2006 civic'
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=150140895469
VIN starts with a 1. made in USA.

Honda has been making civics in both the US and Canada since the 80s. get over it.

Very rarely will you get to see a Japanese or American made Civic there is a few owners that bought their Civics early production models some of them were made in Japan and America those were the Sedans. As we all know the Civic Coupes and Sedans are made in Canada except the Hybrid and maybe some USDM civic sedans but from my understanding, the Civic sedans were made in America for some time maybe its being made in America and Canada but i know for a fact the SI Coupe and Sedans are made in Canada. The Civic hybrid has always been the only Japanese made civic so far since 2003. The vin numbers on those civics from ebay could be fake. Dont always go by ebay as there is many scammers on that site.
