I was starting to sweat there for a second... I looked at the pictures first and began to think that I seriously screwed up that diameter measurement... phew.
The gap will be an annoyance, but it won't be a big issue I don't think. Assuming I don't revise the design, I could probably fill the gap when I join the projectors to the shells.
