Boy, if my Si would only get 20mpg I would trade it in so fast the VTEC wouldn't have a chance to kick in Either there is something terribly wrong with your car or you really don't know how to drive.
I am a spirited driver but the worst gas mileag I have ever gotten with this car is 25mpg and that was in the very beginning. Now I am getting a very consistant 28.1 mpg which is mostly city and some stop and go rush hour highway travel. I am sure that 30+ is quite possible if driving more Highway.
