A suggestion for the stuck bulb owners
May I suggest that you don't grind anything, just try a different way of seating the bulb.
If your bulb is getting hung up, it is usually in the last 5 degrees of rotation, and is being caused by the top bulb base ear pushing up against the the snap clip spring in the headlight housing. This clip is a little stiff and can make fully installing the bulb difficult.
To get around this and to get the bulb base to "click" in place, push on the bulb base with a flat-bladed jewelers screwdriver. Turn the bulb as much as you dare by hand and then use the screwdriver blade to push on the top ear that has to pass the snap clip. To make things easier, also lubricate the bulb base with some silicone lubricant. Use a Q-tip to apply the lubricant to the bulb base.
