both shows are good but are completely different types of humor.
Family guy is an easier to watch less edgy show that most people can get and not feel offended by.
On the other hand South Park goes beyond Family guy in its jokes and can get some people really offended but the comedy is pure classic.
I personally like both shows but each in their own right, if im watching family guy i know im in for fun and South Park im in for hilarity.
